A: We have low minimums on custom formulated products, with flexible quantity on most items. Take pet shampoo for example : the MOQ is one metric ton of raw materials. For example : If it is made by 500ml per unit, the minimum order quantity is 2,000 units. Most competitor contract companies require much larger minimums (10,000+ units), but with us you can have more flexible minimal investment.

Please noted : some customized packaging may require higher minimums.

A: We begin by establishing your product and brand’s goals then create a custom formulated product to your satisfaction. We ask you to submit a Product Submission Form which we will review with a chemist to establish your products formulation. Once we confirm its ingredients we will send you a sample within 10-14 business days for approval. Any additional revision is 7-14 business days. Once a product is approved we begin testing and creating a complete Product Dossier for your records that includes MSDS and Certificate of Analysis.

A: Our typical lead time is only 6 to 8 weeks working days depending on the job and it’s parameters. Lead times can be longer for larger jobs and during the busy season.

A: The number of times for free samples making is limited to three time, you only need to afford the postage. From the fourth time onwards, the proofing fee will be charged at $70(USD) each time. The proofing fee return level is 50% with order reaches $5,500(USD) of the first order, 70% with $7,200(USD), 100% with $11,000(USD).

A: Yes. Please note, there may be related extension costs. The core of our company is a formula laboratory, so we have a large number of ready-made exclusive formulas and some patented technologies for you to use.

A: We are very welcome you to provide your own packaging and labels, just send us a sample of your packaging to see if it will qualify to be filled by our equipment. If you want us to source your packaging, then we can certainly offer this service as well, as we have reliable suppliers whose packaging is compatible with our tooling and equipment, our packaging abilities include almost any bottle, tube or jar.

A: Yes. We are a full service, turn-key factory. Our knowledgeable team will provide suggestions on what labels / components will work best for your project.

A: The total estimated cost for your project can only be determined once we have all the details like the product(s) chosen plus packaging, quantity, labeling requirements, and finishing details. Customized ingredients will result in additional costs.

A: Your general quote can take up to 3 business days to complete once we get all required information and can be emailed or faxed. (International Clients will only be emailed) Should you have additional questions about the quote, be sure to list the questions ahead of time. Note that quotes are only valid for 15 days.

A: Once you confirm your project details and send us a purchase order, we will email you a contract with all the details so that there are no misunderstanding. We must receive this signed contract and any other required forms along with your down payment, as well as all the other items that you will be supplying before we will put your project on the production schedule. Our normal lead time is 6 to 12 weeks working days depending on the project and season but can be more or less depending on production scheduling issues, supplier delays, size of the job or other events outside of our control.

A: As much as we would love to talk about many exciting and innovative products we have developed for some of the most prestigious brands in the marketplace, we do maintain our clients’  privacy.

A: Ourland has done contract manufacturing and packaging for many companies around the world and we are very committed to our policy on privacy for our clients. We will sign a NDA with all new clients. If you have additional documents that your company requires us to sign then we will need to review and approve those documents prior to starting your project.
Note: If your additional documents alter or change the intent of our agreement, then we will not be able to sign them.

A: We can ship unlabeled product provided it does not carry any claims such as Certified Organic or OTC. If your product does carry these claims, we only ship to facilities that are registered with the FDA and are compliant with all federal requirements. In the case of certified organic products, the facility must be certified handlers by the NOP in accordance with NSF standards as applicable.

A:Yes, we are an OTC facility and we do manufacture SPF lip, face and body products.

A: Yes. We are supply chain experts and also have experience with specific pack outs and pallet configurations.
